About The Widow Mentor

Mary Ellen is a hospice professional of 20+ years. She is a certified grief educator, a twice-bereaved widow, twice-bereaved parent, as well as a bereaved daughter and bereaved sibling.

Join with Mary Ellen as you journey together through grief, plant seeds of hope, and turn pain into purpose

Grief can be a difficult journey; especially if you try to navigate it alone. Coping with decline/death of family members, friends, co-workers, and friends can deconstruct one's life and can hit with an unexpected fury: Never-felt before emotions, Loss of identity, Loss of independence, and the list goes on.

The Widow Mentor is a place where "seeds" of validation, acceptance, understanding and education will be shared.
